Coventry University Prize
Coventry University has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade, which is the UK’s most prestigious business award.
This is a significant achievement for the university, which has worked hard to build relationships with institutions and companies worldwide and has attracted thousands of students from different countries to its
campus in Coventry.
The university is the fifth-largest higher education recruiter for international students in the UK and has established a network of international hubs in Brussels, Dubai, Singapore, Rwanda and a branch campus in Wroclaw, Poland.
The award recognizes the efforts made by the university to form positive collaborations worldwide and not only offers benefits to students by opening up unique opportunities but also to the city, as students from over 100 countries contribute to the sharing of knowledge and best practices.
The award also confirms the university’s reputation as a world leader in its international outlook. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the university has continued to innovate and adapt, and it was named
the world’s best university for the provision of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). This is not the first time the university has won this award, it won in 2015 and since then it has received other prestigious accolades such as being named the winner for internationalization at the Guardian Annual University Awards in 2020 and The University of the Year for Student Experience by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide in 2019.
