MBA Global Business is an exciting, vibrant, intensive non-industry specific course that aims to prepare graduates for a variety of career opportunities in multi-discipline, business leadership and management roles both nationally and globally. Responding to global market trends, the digital economy and continuous change, the MBA Global Business course addresses the needs of a new generation of business leaders by exploring the creation, development and sustainable growth of global businesses. This is evidenced by the range of learning outcomes which create a benchmark for evaluating student knowledge. Throughout the course, there is the opportunity for students to tailor their learning journey to their future career ambitions by specialising in one of four pathways: Human Resources, Global Business, Finance, or Marketing. Within these pathways, students can apply their knowledge and reflect on their leadership skills by analysing management in start-ups, Small–to-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and sector leading organisations.
The following are the major modules that are taught in this programme
Learning will be facilitated through a variety of methods, which may include lectures, seminars, lab, workshops, online activities and group work. Students are expected to engage in both class and online activities and discussions. This programme also requires students to participate in additional guided reading and self-directed study to reinforce the learning gained from timetabled sessions. Formative assessment will be used to prepare students for summative assessment and give students an early indication of their progress towards the course intended learning outcomes.
